PTI's longest serving employee Lynne Head retires after 27 years.
Our Customer Service Manager Lynne Head has retired after over 27 years of tireless work maintaining our reputation for great customer service.
Back in 1995 when Lynne started we were called Parcels to Ireland, the trucks were bright yellow and customers POD's were sent by fax! Not to mention 4 of our current team hadn't even been born.
Times have definitely changed for the better and in those 27 years Lynne has been a huge part in helping the business grow. Some of the many changes Lynne has overseen were the new corporate ID in 2004 when the fleet changed to Silver and in 2009 she helped organise our 20th anniversary celebrations with the legendary truck pull at Gaydon Motor Museum where the PTI team beat Mercedes UK.
In 2011 we changed our name to PTI Express and in 2013 Lynne was instrumental in helping us relocate to larger premises here at Wood St. The biggest change to our business in Lynne's 27 years came last year when the UK left the EU and we had to get ready for customs procedures. To manage that change Lynne had to get a brand new team together at really short notice and manage them through a really tough transitional period. Lynne transformed them into the outstanding team that we have now.
We would like to congratulate Lynne on her tremendous achievement and wish her all the very best for what is a very well deserved retirement. We will miss you Lynne.
